Emma studied her foundation at Canterbury college of art, going on to further her passion for pattern and print at Manchester Polytechnic where she completed a BA (hons) in Printed and woven textiles.

Many years later after being diagnosed with cancer, she reconnected with her passion for printmaking and drawing at the Royal Drawing School under the careful guidance and inspiration of Perienne Christian, Sam Marshall and RossenDaskalov.
 

Choosing to leave the UK to fulfil her dreams, she now resides in the Minho region of Portugal as a contemporary artist.
